Our Mission
Our mission at Beacon of Hope & Healing is to raise awareness about the impact of Post- Traumatic Stress Disorder and Substance Abuse on family members of Military and First Responders, as well as to help build pathways to recovery for those affected family members.

You may not realize it, but every time you share your story,
you’re taking the hand of someone who thought they were the only one.
Objective One
Be a Beacon: Raise awareness for family members (children and spouses) of Military Members and First Responders (including Retirees) who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and/or Substance Abuse (SA).
Objective Two
Provide Hope: Ensure affected family members know that they are not alone in their struggle and that help is available for both them and their loved one.
Objective Three
Enable Healing: Provide information about organizations and resources available to affected family members so that they can develop coping methods and overcome the adversity of having a PTSD/SA afflicted family member.
